RI Talent is partnering with a well-established CPA and advisory practice in the South Bay area to appoint an experienced Financial Advisor to join their growing wealth management division.
This is a rare opportunity to step into an existing book of warm client relationships within a highly reputable, tax-led advisory firm — with no cold calling or prospecting required.
The Opportunity
Our client has built long-standing relationships over more than two decades, providing tax preparation, strategic planning, accounting, and wealth advisory services to individuals and businesses.
As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a dedicated Financial Advisor to manage and grow an established portfolio of clients in a structured, collaborative office environment.
If you enjoy advising clients and managing portfolios — but would prefer not to focus on business development — this role offers stability, balance, and genuine long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with an existing client portfolio
  • Assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives
  • Deliver ongoing, proactive advisory support

Portfolio Management

  • Review and analyse diversified portfolios (equities, fixed income, annuities)
  • Execute trades and rebalance accounts where required
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly

Advisory & Guidance

  • Provide personalised investment recommendations aligned with clients’ best interests
  • Clearly communicate financial strategies to a varied client base

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Uphold industry best practices across all advisory activities

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience managing investment clients and diversified portfolios
  • Strong working knowledge of fixed, variable, and indexed annuities
  • Solid understanding of standard investment vehicles
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Highly organised with a compliance-driven approach
  • Comfortable working full-time on-site in a structured office environment
