Key Responsibilities
Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include:
- Preparing and reviewing federal, state and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and other business entities.
- Providing tax planning, compliance and advisory services.
- Researching complex tax legislation and delivering practical solutions.
- Advising clients on accounting, financial reporting and tax matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service.
- Managing multiple client engagements while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing coaching and technical guidance.
- Managing engagements from planning through to completion.
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory and accounting services.
Candidate Requirements
We are interested in professionals who possess:
- Public accounting tax experience.
- Experience preparing and/or reviewing individual and business tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, tax planning and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
- CPA or EA qualification is advantageous for senior-level positions.
- Previous supervisory and client management experience for Manager and Senior Manager level roles.
